Boating with Ús Jacht
A day of boating is a must when you’re on vacation in the Lauwersmeer area. From the marina, you can easily access the national park. At Varen met Sil, you can rent a luxury sloop, sturdy launch, or charming boat for a day on the water.
You can rent the boat for a full day, morning, or afternoon:
– Full day: Pick up the boat at 9:00 am and return by 6:00 pm.
– Morning: Pick up the boat at 9:00 am and return by 1:00 pm.
– Afternoon: Pick up the boat at 2:00 pm and return by 6:00 pm.

Ús Jacht is the smallest boat in the Varen met Sil family. With Ús Jacht, you can spend a day on the Lauwersmeer or towards Dokkum, and take a small tour through Northeast Friesland. You can retreat in the shade or sunbathe on deck. The boat has an outboard motor and is very suitable for people without boating experience.
Ús Jacht is ready for your boating holiday in Friesland at Jachthaven Lunegat. Dogs are allowed, provided the boat is left clean. The cost for Ús Jacht includes a tank of gasoline, typically enough for a full day of boating.

Insurance and Deposit
When renting Ús Jacht, you are required to pay a deposit of €100 euros. This deposit must be paid before departure. You can pay the deposit directly when booking the boat or via the link provided in the booking confirmation.
We expect good seamanship, and deliberate damage will incur the full excess amount.
