The Tides
When sailing on the Wadden Sea, the tides are very important. High and low tides vary by location. The Wadden Sea experiences a semi-diurnal tide, meaning there are two high tides and two low tides each day. A full tidal cycle lasts 12 hours and 25 minutes. You can check the tide times and expected water levels for each location on the tidechart website.
