Boating with Joep
A day of boating is a must when vacationing in the Lauwersmeer area. From the marina, you can easily access the national park. At Varen met Sil, you can rent a luxury sloop, sturdy launch, or charming boat for a day on the water.
You can rent the boat for a full day, morning, or afternoon:
– Full day: Pick up the boat at 9:00 am and return by 6:00 pm.
For weekend, midweek, or evening rentals, please contact us.
Come enjoy a day of boating near the Lauwersmeer. Rent our sturdy work launch Joep! Joep has been completely rebuilt in recent years and features a bow thruster. It’s the perfect boat for a day on the water. Head towards Dokkum in the morning for a leisurely lunch or stroll, then sail towards the Lauwersmeer in the afternoon. It’s a delightful day on the water!
When renting Joep, we take the time to get you started. While boating experience is useful for this boat, we provide explanations and can accompany you if needed. No boating license is required!
The cost for Joep includes diesel. Dogs are allowed onboard.
Insurance and Deposit
When renting Joep, you will need to pay a deposit of €150 euros. This deposit must be paid before departure and can be provided in cash.
We expect good seamanship, and in cases of deliberate damage, the entire excess amount will be charged.
