The story of Moanne
This is Moanne, perfect for sailing with a maximum of two adults or small children. Moanne has a convertible roof. The name Moanne is Frisian for moon.
Facilities
Moanne features a spacious wheelhouse with a convertible roof, allowing you to comfortably enjoy sunny or rainy weather. The galley includes a dining table and a kitchen with a refrigerator. In the bow, there’s a large double bed with a wonderfully soft mattress. If you have more than two people, you can convert the dining table into a second bed. Moanne is also equipped with hot air heating, perfect for the spring or autumn!
The boat is equipped with several power outlets that you can use while sailing or when connected to shore power, perfect for charging your phone or other devices.
Moanne is 8.50 meters long, 2.50 meters wide, 0.95 meters deep, and 2.25 meters high.
When you rent one of our boats, we will explain the boat to you. We assume you know how to sail; otherwise, we highly recommend taking 1 or 2 sailing lessons! You can order these during the booking process.

Insurance and Deposit
When renting Moanne, you will pay a deposit of €400. This deposit must be paid before departure. You will receive an email about this five days before arrival.
It is also possible to waive the deductible for 15% of the deductible (€95 including VAT). You will then be fully insured for damage caused by sailing and maneuvering the boat. The waiver assumes good seamanship; in the case of intentional damage, the deductible will always be charged.
Salt Water and the IJsselmeer
We are proud of our boats and want them to sail for a long time. The boats have a flat bottom and are not suitable for high waves. The IJsselmeer can be very dangerous for people with little to no experience. Therefore, sailing on the IJsselmeer is not allowed without consultation. Sailing in salt water is prohibited.
