Are you a nature lover with a camera? Sign up for our photography workshop from the water. On board a classic sloop, while enjoying a delicious lunch, you will learn to take the most beautiful photos under the guidance of an experienced photographer! In collaboration with photographer Jacqueline Jellema, we will offer this photography workshop from the water 3 to 4 times this sailing season.
The Program
What does the day look like?
We gather at the Lunegat marina in Dokkumer Nieuwe Zijlen. Here, the classic Norwegian sloop Jort van Varen with Sil is waiting for us. The sloop was built in 1946 in Grimstad.
After a short briefing from the skipper and photographer Jacqueline, it’s time to prepare Jort for departure. Besides photography, we will also learn the basics of sailing on this day. Lines off, and we sail out of the harbor! Depending on the weather, we will head towards Dokkum, Kollum, or the Lauwersmeer. Along the way, you will be amazed: will you spot the sea eagle on the Lauwersmeer or capture the perfect shot of a beached seal?

Requirements
- Camera that can be manually adjusted (P/A/S/M mode), preferably a DSLR or mirrorless camera
- Sufficient batteries — we cannot charge on board
- Optional rain gear and sun hat
- Sunscreen
