Sailing to Leeuwarden<\/h2>\n

Leeuwarden is located in the middle of Friesland. From Lunegat Marina, follow the Dokkumer Diep, sail through Dokkum, and follow the Dokkumer Ee into the heart of Leeuwarden. From the Princess Margriet Canal or from Harlingen, follow the Van Harinxmakanaal to the city.<\/p>\n

The Harbor of Leeuwarden<\/h3>\n

The most beautiful harbor in Leeuwarden is the city harbor around the Prinsentuin. Here, you moor your boat in a park right in the city center. This harbor is considered one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands, making it a must-visit on your boating vacation!<\/p>\n

Harbor Fees and Water Tourist Tax<\/h3>\n

Once you\u2019ve moored your boat, you can check in at the harbor office from 2:00 PM, or wait for the harbor master to visit you. The harbor master makes several rounds and will be happy to meet you at your boat.<\/p>\n

The costs for electricity, water, and sanitary facilities are included in the harbor fee. If you want to use the shower and toilet, you will receive an access code for the sanitary building.<\/p>\n

The mooring fee in the harbor of Leeuwarden is \u20ac1.82 per meter. You can only pay with a debit or credit card. After payment, you will receive a receipt with all important information, which you should display visibly on board.<\/p>\n
